Man, I used to do whatever I wanted. If I felt like it, I’d sit by the river at sunset, just lost in my thoughts for hours. Now? If I even notice the sun’s going down, it’s a miracle! ‘Cause around that time, I’m usually cooking, cleaning up after my kid, and running through a never-ending to-do list in my head.
But the crazy thing is, even with all the exhaustion, there’s this deep happiness inside me. One little smile from my baby, and I forget everything.
