Dilation Examination

Girls, I had pain yesterday. The hospital was close, and I went to get checked out just in case. I'm 39+2 weeks pregnant. I went and first had an NST, and it showed I was having contractions, but not much. Then she checked for dilation. I've had dilation exams twice before, but this was the first time it hurt so much. I really thought she was going to deliver me right there. It really, really hurt. I'm not writing this here to scare other friends or for any other reason. Is it normal for it to hurt this much? I really thought she was going to pull the baby out. The person who checked wasn't a doctor, it was a midwife, I think. Even when my own doctor checked, it didn't hurt this much. I was like, "What are you doing?" and she said, "I need to check." I really thought she put her whole hand inside me. I suddenly screamed, "Stop, it hurts so much!" Did she do that on purpose? I've wanted a normal delivery from the start, but after last night, my psychology is messed up. When we got home, I hugged my husband and cried. I said, "I'm scared, let them take it by C-section." I cried a lot, and now it hurts a little. It hurts when I pee too. The more I said it hurt, the more she pushed her hand in, saying, "Your uterus is behind, I need to reach and check." Even if my uterus was behind, my doctor would have checked it and told me. I'm really scared of normal delivery, girls. What should I do? I'm going to see my own doctor soon and tell them all this. What do you think? If something is wrong, like if my doctor says my uterus isn't behind, who said that? Should I report this witch from last night? Girls, it's long, please forgive me. The bad thing is, she said I have no dilation at all.
